In the meeting between the managers of the Russian trading fish house company and the director general of the office of quality improvement, processing and development of the aquatic market, the issue of bilateral cooperation regarding the export of Iranian aquatic food to Russia was discussed and exchanged.
According to the public relations report of the Iranian Fisheries Organization, in this meeting, Abbas Mokhtari, referring to the existence of 74 aquatic food production factories in Iran and the production capacity of one million and one hundred thousand tons of food per year in Iran, announced the readiness to export to Russia.
He also pointed out that currently, Iranian seafood is exported to 11 countries, including Iraq, Uzbekistan and Armenia.
The managers of the Russian trading fish house company welcomed the proposal and cooperation with Iran and it was decided to visit several factories producing aquatic food in Iran.
